Installer/Service Technician / Raleigh:

Strategic Security Solutions is seeking highly motivated and experienced candidates to execute the installation and provide service of commercial electronic security systems in the Installer/Service Technician role based in our Raleigh office.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Service and Install of CCTV, IP video, Intrusion, and Access control systems in commercial applications.


  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must have outstanding customer service skills and focus on quality craftsmanship.
  • Networking experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen, background check, and possess a valid drivers license.
  • Experienced candidates preferred.
  • Clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma.


Project Manager / Winston Salem:

Strategic Security Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to primarily serve the Winston Salem, Greensboro, and Charlotte NC markets. The preferred candidate will be highly experienced in the electronic security industry and have a thorough understanding of Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion applications. The preferred candidate will also have sound budgeting, management, communication skills and be an effective team leader.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

-Coordinate internal and external resources for installation and service projects

-Job progress reporting to senior management for backlog management and forecasting

-Ensure timely delivery of projects within expected timeframes and within the expected budget

-Create proposals for small projects and manage change orders for ongoing projects

-End to end management of changes in project scope, schedule and costs

-Directly responsible to maintain and increase overall quality and technician workmanship

-Ensure that permitting and AHJ inspections remain in compliance

-Perform courtesy visits to established customers to maintain and manage the relationships

-Participate in construction meetings

-Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation


-Solid technical background in the electronic security industry. Direct field experience preferred

-Must be able to work a flexible schedule as customer’s needs dictate

-Some overnight travel may be required

-Strong understanding of IP based CCTV and Enterprise Level Access Control applications

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams

-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

-Clean criminal background and driving record

-Strong organization skills and attention to detail
